FAQs

An EPOD is an emergency pod made from modified shipping containers. They provide essential resources, equipment and a necessary structure to support communities in their response to emergencies and disasters.
All EPODs are customised to the unique needs and risks of your community.  For example, rural communities have much different needs to urban communities as they are more likely to become isolated for prolonged periods without immediate access to resources.  At FIRST72, we focus on emergency preparedness solutions that are fit for purpose for each community.
The cost of an EPOD depends on the level of equipment and resources needed for each community.  However, EPOD packages can range from $30,000 through to $80,000+.  You can request a quote or contact the FIRST72 team for a solution that works for you.
An EPOD can be deployed within your community within 4-6 weeks following confirmation of your order.
Our specifically engineered adjustable EPOD Feet ensures that your EPOD can be deployed on uneven surfaces or materials including gravel, grass or paddocks.
Reach out to us through our website, and we’ll guide you through the process including any engagement with other emergency management stakeholders.
